Every year, the United Architects of the Philippines (UAP) gathers the country’s architecture and construction community for one of the most anticipated industry events — CONEX (UAP Convention Exhibits). 

As part of the 51st UAP National Convention, this year’s theme, “Above Innovation, Beyond Tomorrow Experience,” brings together architects, designers, builders, and industry partners who are shaping the future of the built environment in the Philippines.

More than an exhibition, CONEX Philippines is a space for learning, collaboration, and discovery. It’s where professionals explore new technologies, exchange ideas, and discover solutions that influence how we design and build tomorrow’s spaces.

Our Journey with CONEX: 2023–2024

Onduline Philippines first joined CONEX in 2023 at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC), marking an important step in connecting with the local architecture and construction community.

The following year, we continued that journey at CONEX 2024 held at SMX Convention Center Manila, where we had the opportunity to engage with architects, contractors, developers, and builders looking for practical and climate-ready roofing solutions.

Across both events, our booth became a place for conversations about roofing systems for the Philippine climate, renovation solutions, and sustainable construction practices. Architects and builders explored how lightweight roofing materials can help address common challenges such as heavy rainfall, heat exposure, and roof renovations.

Visitors also had the chance to see and learn more about our key roofing systems, including:

Bardoline – an asphalt shingle roofing system designed for residential and architectural projects

Onduvilla – a lightweight tile-look roofing system suited for tropical climates

Onduline Tile – a roofing option inspired by traditional tiles with modern installation advantages

Through these interactions, we were able to exchange ideas, understand the evolving needs of the industry, and strengthen relationships with professionals involved in residential, commercial, and renovation projects across the Philippines.
