Onduline Philippines was once again part of CONEX 2026, held at SMX Convention Center Manila from April 16–18. The event gathered architects, contractors, and builders who all share the same everyday challenge in the Philippines: how to build better for a climate that shifts between intense heat and heavy rains.

For us, CONEX was not just about setting up a booth. It was about showing—very simply and clearly—how Onduline performs in real conditions. We wanted people to see, touch, and experience how our roofing systems behave in actual Philippine environments, not just in brochures or specs.

One of the most visited areas was our Onduvilla display. We set it up like an actual roof installation so visitors could see how it’s laid out—from tile alignment to accessories and proper purlin spacing. It became a simple conversation starter with architects and contractors who appreciated how straightforward the system is on-site.

We also shared a quick look at Onduline’s journey—from our global presence to our growing work here in the Philippines. It was a good reminder that while our reach is international, our focus here is very local: building roofing solutions that actually work in Philippine conditions.

A highlight for many was the Thermal Test. People could literally feel the difference between  Onduline sheets and traditional metal roofing. It sparked a lot of honest reactions and conversations about comfort inside the home—especially in a country where heat is part of daily life.

We also featured:

Bardoline Opera and Beaver – premium asphalt shingles
Onduline Classic – our original corrugated roofing system

But beyond the products, what stood out most were the conversations. CONEX gave us time to sit down with architects, contractors, and partners—not in formal meetings, but in real, open discussions. We talked about project challenges, material choices, budget pressures, and what “good roofing” really means today. It was also a chance to reconnect with familiar faces and start new relationships that we hope will continue long after the event.

At the end of the three days, we didn’t just leave with inquiries—we left with better understanding. And that’s what we value most.

As we move forward, Onduline Philippines remains focused on one thing: building roofing solutions that are practical, reliable, and truly suited for everyday life in the Philippines—because at the end of the day, it’s about protecting homes, projects, and the people inside them.
