Onduline Philippines Joins Forces with Lighthouse Club Manila for a Noble Cause

The funds raised from the 2024 Lapdog Challenge will be directed towards providing scholarships to students in need, enabling them to pursue their educational goals and build a brighter future. Onduline Philippines is a gold member of Lighthouse Club Manila which is a non profit charity organization that helps students finish their school in college. One of their activities recently to raise funds is the "Lapdog Challenge". All participating members are invited to the challenge with its employees. Onduline brings 5 representatives including the Asia Pacific Director, Olivier Guilluy.

Every lap, the participating member has to raise a certain amount for the charity. So every lap counts. (1 lap is equivalent to 400 meters) Our target is to collect a sponsorship amount of Php 100,000 (1,620 euro) and finish 125 laps.

Aside from sponsorship from Onduline Philippines, we also ask our significant clients to help and support the event. In result, we were able to collect Php 115,000 (1,863 euro) and finished 139 laps.

Out of 32 participants, Onduline ranks fifth.

It was a meaningful experience for all the employees as it is our first time to participate. All the pains after the run are all worth it, knowing that we run for a purpose.

Lighthouse Club Manila Branch, Inc. is a charitable organization focused on promoting the welfare and education of individuals within the construction industry. Through various fundraising events and initiatives, they provide scholarships and support to those in need, fostering growth and development within the community.
