Ocean is one of our valuable natural resources, supporting livelihoods, marine ecosystems, and industries such as tourism. However, it continues to face growing threats from pollution caused by improper waste disposal, especially plastic waste and other debris that harm marine life, coastlines, and communities.

To help address this issue, Sustainable Shore 2026, in partnership with France-Philippines United Action and Planet Cora, brought together volunteers and environmental advocates to protect our coastal environment. As part of this initiative, Onduline Philippines joined the cleanup drive on June 5, 2026, at the Las Piñas–Parañaque Wetland Park, with seven team members participating in the effort to help restore the area. Through this collective action, 236.2 kilograms of marine litter were successfully removed from the shoreline.

While cleanup activities make an immediate impact, lasting change depends on everyday actions. Proper waste disposal, reducing plastic use, and adopting sustainable habits are essential in protecting our oceans and ensuring a cleaner, healthier future for generations to come.
